Frequently asked questions

A few things to know before you begin.

Can I learn in-centre or online?

Yes. The Centre runs daily in-centre classes in Ilaro, alongside live online classes for part-time and distant learners.

What if I miss a class?

Online sessions are recorded to help you catch up. Speak to your teacher if you need help with missed in-centre or online learning.

What level do I start at?

No prior Arabic is needed. We discuss your experience and goals in a placement conversation so you begin at a suitable level.

What does the certificate mean?

It recognises completing a Centre level and passing its assessment. It is not a state or university qualification.

How do payments work?

Card payments use a secure hosted checkout. Bank transfers require proof and confirmation by the Centre. Available methods are shown on your invoice; contact the Centre to confirm fees and arrangements.

Can I book a learning consultation?

Yes. Tell us about your experience and goals, and we will help you choose a suitable way to begin. No payment details are needed.

What do I need to join?

For online learning, you need a suitable phone, tablet or computer, internet access and a quiet place to practise. For in-centre learning, the Centre confirms what to bring when your class is arranged.

Who can join?

Learners at different starting points are welcome. The Centre offers members of the Ahmadiyya Jama’at a welcoming environment for Islamic learning and treats all learners with respect. Children join through a parent or guardian.
